Denny's, home of the grand-slam breakfast, is getting slammed. A class-action suit alleges that West Coast outlets required money up front from black patrons and refused them standard offers like free birthday meals. An ex- employee has separately charged Denny's with discriminating against black workers. Denny's says it has ended the offenses and launched a minority-hiring program.
