WHY NOT REISSUE PINOCCHIO? The Walt Disney studio is developing a feature film to be called The Passion of Richard Nixon. John Malkovich has been approached about the title role, and production is scheduled for later this year. Producer David Permut (Dragnet) describes the project as a "story about a man desperately trying to overcompensate in everything he did."
