THE CASE OF THE CRUMPLED KNAVE--Anthony Boucher--Simon & Schuster ($2). Young Fergus O'Breen, with the aid of Colonel Theodore Rand, U. S. A. (Ret.), nails the crafty killer of a wealthy California chemist-inventor.
