Iowa Ousted
The "Big Ten" became the "Big Nine" last week when members of the Great Western Athletic Conference ousted the University of Iowa on charges of professional athletics. The "Big Ten" used to be Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Chicago, Northwestern, Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio State. Iowa, stunned, waited further developments, threatened exposure of professionalism in other "Big Ten" universities.
