Work Done. Last week the U. S. Representatives:
P: Passed a bill authorizing a Lindbergh medal to be struck, a gold original to be given to the subject, bronze copies to be sold to the public; sent it to the Senate.
P: Passed a bill authorizing Col. Lindbergh to accept decorations from foreign governments.
P: Passed a resolution formally seating swart, Wet, loquacious Representative La Guardia of New York, whose right to sit had been contested.
P: Passed a resolution authorizing the American Federation of Labor to erect a statue to Samuel Gompers, in Washington.
P: Passed a bill appropriating some $143,000,000 to run the Department of Agriculture; sent it to the Senate.
