Winter Sport
Los Angeles posted $10,000 for a Golf Tournament as is the annual custom, and drew famed, formidable golfers. At Miami, Fla., the prize totalled $3,000, but the field was almost as formidable. MacDonald Smith, Long Island professional, won in the West with rounds of 74, 70, 69, 71; in the South Gene Sarazen was paid first prize for shooting 71, 71, 72, 75.
