Reminder

Do you own any Second Liberty Loan bonds? They bear 4 1/2% interest, but they will cease to bear any interest at all after Nov. 15. Last week, for the second time within a month, Secretary of the Treasury Andrew W. Mellon reminded Second Liberty Loan bondholders of this fact; also of the fact that Oct. 1 is the last day on which Second Liberty Loan bonds can be exchanged for the Treasury notes issued to retire them, Series B-1530-32.
