"He de France"
Aboard the He de France, French Line's new liner abuilding at St. Nazaire, will be a whiskey-beer bar 29 feet long, with sleek, shore-trained bartenders back of it. There will be a trottoir cafe 75 feet long with sure-footed waiters dodging among small iron tables. For good Catholics there will be a two-story chapel with altar, pews, replicas of the 14 stations of the cross, and pictures of Sts. Louis and Genevieve (patrons of the boat)--all to give Atlantic transients the illusion of being on land.
