Sparrow
In Charlotte, N. C., one Ralph Hepburn, automobile racer, moving at 125 miles an hour, swerved crazily, threw on his brakes, drew up at the side of the track. Mechanics found him almost unconscious from pain. A sparrow had flown against his goggles, broken them, forced a piece of glass under his eyelid.
