Next Session

The next session of the Council of the League of Nations will take place at Geneva on Mar. 9.

Among the 22 agenda:

P: Inquiry into the Council's rights to investigate the armaments of Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, with a view to transferring to the League the functions of the Interallied Control Mission, which now does its best to keep a watchful eye on the armament activities of these countries.

P: Discussion of a plan to control private manufacture of arms.

P: Consideration of the dispute between Greece and Turkey over the Constantinople Patriarchate (TIME, Feb. 9).

P: Discussion of the Protocol to the Covenant of the League of Nations (TIME, Oct. 13), in which the famed formula of disarmament, arbitration and security was embodied. It was expected that the security issue will be dropped and that Britain will demand postponement of the entire problem until the autumn.
