Dinner
Around a lavishly decorated board, were seated U. S. Ambassador Myron T. Herrick, Emile Daeschner (recently appointed Ambassador-designate to the U. S.), le marechal Foch, Jules Cambon (onetime Ambassador to Germany), General Gouraud (Military Governor of Paris), Sheldon Whitehouse (U. S. Counselor of Embassy) and Mrs. Whitehouse, U. S. Consul General and Mrs. Robert Skinner, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goelet of Manhattan, and many another.
The occasion was a dinner given by Ambassador Herrick to his brother Ambassador, M. Daeschner.
