The U. S. Census Bureau has announced the following figures representing a summary of the number of mentally diseased, feebleminded and epileptic persons in 526 hospitals for mental disease, 84 psychopathic wards of general hospitals, 136 homes for the feebleminded and 32 institutions for epileptics:
