Colgate Wranglers
Three seniors of the Colgate 'Varsity Debating Team, winners of eight out of nine domestic debates in 1923, sailed for England. They will give eight debates in British universities on the following controversial questions : "Is Prohibition Good for a Nation?" (Colgate says Yes!"), "Should the U. S. join the League of Nations?" (Colgate says "Nol")
Prohibition will be debated at Sheffield and Oxford. At Oxford, the debate will be followed by speeches from G. K. Chesterton, champion British bibulophile, and by Lady Astor, so-called "British Bryan."
Oxford and Cambridge teams will pay a return visit to the U. S. in the Autumn.
