In London

A firm of London restaurateurs opened a new room in one of their restaurants in which a "daring innovation" is to be made. They have secured the service of the best artists from the Carl Rosa Opera Company to give selections from their repertoire in costume in the afternoon and again after dinner and at supper in the evening. The number of performers is limited by the licensing authorities to six. There is a "producer" and the orchestra is said to be "excellent." Each week is to see a different "cycle" of operas, including Rigoletto, II Trovatore, Faust, Romeo et Juliette, Lohengrin, A'ida, Tosca.
