Nippy Work

Taking advantage of a miners' strike, 4,000 Communists seized the United coal mine near Swickau, Saxony, and announced their intention of running it. Police were called, but the Communists were in full possession and it was evidently felt that they might as well run the mine, since the miners would not do so.
