Dr. Herman Beck, former head of the German war inventions bureau, is in America trying to dispose of German war secrets for peaceful uses, including " ceramonite," an alloy that resists 2000 degrees of heat; "electronite," a slow conductor of electricity; a detector for discovering short circuits or breaks in wires; a photochemical process of developing and printing without exposures.
