Lady Diplomat Resigns

Miss Nadeja Stancioff, recently appointed First Secretary of the Bulgarian Legation in Washington, reputed to be Europe's only lady-diplomat, resigned as a protest over the death of her former chief, Stambuliski.

Miss Stancioff speaks eight languages; Stambuliski, whose interpreter she was in the many conferences which the late Premier attended, said that she could keep secrets in any of them. It is expected that the ex-lady-diplomat will devote her time to journalism in the United States or Great Britain.

Miss Stancioff is a daughter of Dr. Dimitri Stancioff, Minister to Great Britain and at present representing Bulgaria at the Lausanne Conference.
