Cabinet Resigns

The Cabinet headed by Mustowfi-el-Mamalek resigned. United States and British interests are concerned over the political situation, of which the chief aspect is the rapid rise of the Radical Party. The alleged fall of the Cabinet was due to incompetency. Only one member of the Cabinet is said to have had any knowledge of the country's affairs--the Sardar Sepah, Minister of War--a post he also held in the preceding Cabinet under Mushir-ed-Dowleh.
