The Naval Treaties

Premier Poincare decided to withdraw the bill for ratification of the Washington Naval Agreement now before the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies and to substitute direct recognition without formal reservations. The new bill must be examined by various commissions, so that ratification will not take place for some time.
